New Blog: Doctrine Matters
I’m always on the lookout for blogs and Web sites that edify the saints. Today I found another one that does just that: Doctrine Matters. Why the name? Well, because doctrine does matter. Tom, the blog’s author, explains:
Scriptural doctrine (2 Tim. 3:16) determines our eternal destiny (2 John 1:9, 2 Thess. 1:1-10); our actions (1 Tim. 1:10, 2 Tim. 3:10); preserves the purity of the Gospel message (Gal. 2:5, 2 Tim. 2:15); edifies believers, maintains unity, & brings stability (Eph. 4:11-14, Titus 1:9); and is essential for our spiritual growth in Christ (Eph. 4:14, 1 Tim. 4:6). Yes, Doctrine Matters!
